MONTESSORI INFANT PROGRAM

At Educate Me Montessori, our Infant Program is set in a home-like environment where your child is safe to learn, discover, and explore under the careful guidance of trained Montessori educators.

We follow a flexible daily routine that accommodates children’s individual needs, preferences, and interests. Children participate in the Montessori Work Cycle, free play, music and movement, outdoor play, group time, and planned learning experiences.

Children select the activities that interest them and work with them at their own pace. Based on daily observations, Educators introduce new materials and activities that pique children’s curiosity and stimulate learning. Families receive daily updates via our family community app.

INFANT DEVELOPMENT

During the first two years of life, your child’s brain is absorbing tremendous amounts of information through observation and experiences in their environment. The learning that occurs during their crucial stage of development lays the foundation for future learning. The stronger the foundation, the more your child will be able to build upon it.

ENVIRONMENT

The infant learning environment is a supportive learning space that is full of developmentally appropriate learning materials, tools, utensils, and furniture. Children are safe to explore and develop at their own pace. Independence, respect, accessibility, and freedom of movement are crucial components of the infant environment.

CURRICULUM

The Montessori Infant Curriculum emerges from each child’s interests and skills as well as the routines of daily life. Learning activities promote independence, coordination, communication skills, sensory perception, concentration, problem-solving skills, and complete physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
